What ElevenLabs is

ElevenLabs is an AI voice generator: paste a script, pick a voice, export audio. Voices have natural pauses and emotion and speak many languages. Beyond text-to-speech, it can clone your own voice, dub videos into other languages and create sound effects.

Pricing

ElevenLabs plans

The free plan includes 10,000 credits a month, roughly 10 minutes of speech. According to the pricing page on October 30, 2026: Starter is $6/month (about 30 minutes, commercial license and instant voice cloning), Creator $22/month (about 121 minutes, professional voice cloning), Pro $99/month. The first month is often discounted. The pricing page only lists a commercial license from Starter, so use a paid plan for monetized videos.

Downsides

Credits go quickly on long videos or many retakes. Only clone your own voice, or a voice whose owner has agreed.
