Canva Review 2026: Still the Fastest Way to Make Graphics?
Canva — 8.5/10
The easiest way to make social posts, thumbnails and slides, with a generous free plan; but team pricing and AI limits have changed several times.
- You need posts, thumbnails or slides fast
- You have no design training
- You work in a small team with shared brand assets
- You design app or website interfaces
- You need advanced video editing
- You need print layouts precise to the millimeter

What Canva does best
Social posts, YouTube thumbnails, slides, posters: pick a template, change the text, done in minutes. Canva works on the web, desktop and mobile.
The free plan
Thousands of free templates, basic photo and video editing, and downloads as PNG, JPG, MP4 and PDF. Enough for people who post occasionally.
Pro and Business

According to price trackers (October 2026), Canva Pro costs about $18/month in the US, less when billed yearly; Business is about $25 per person/month. Canva often runs promotions and prices vary by country, so check canva.com before you buy. Pro adds premium templates and stock, background removal, Magic Resize and a Brand Kit.
Downsides
In 2024 Canva dropped its flat-price team plan for per-person pricing, so a five-person team now pays much more. AI features use limited credits.

Verdict
For quick graphics, Canva is still hard to beat. For video, pair it with CapCut — see CapCut vs Canva.
